16 Influencers Indicted for Promoting Illegal Gambling

16 Influencers Indicted for Promoting Illegal Gambling

Today begins the interrogatory declaration of 16 influencers in the City of Buenos Aires for promoting websites of illegal gambling. The judicial investigation included raids and a detention in a private neighborhood on the Buenos Aires Atlantic Coast.

The interrogations will be led by prosecutor Juan Rozas from the Specialized Prosecutor's Office for Gambling, and the summons were issued to present themselves at the prosecutor's office located at Avenida Paseo Colón 1333.

The list of influencers includes several recognized names in Argentina, among them Elián "L-Gante" Valenzuela, Florencia Vigna, Morena Rial, among others. The last on the list, Alma Berezowski, will have to open the round of interrogations if she presents herself at her summons during this day.

According to judicial sources, the accused are charged with alleged violation of Article 301 bis of the Penal Code, which penalizes those who explore gambling without the corresponding authorization.

One of the sites under investigation is "casino online zeusoficial," which would have operated without registration. The prosecutor's office has screenshots, videos, and other evidence of the illegal promotion carried out by the involved influencers.
